Babolat Has Arrived: The Juan Lebron 3.0 Collection Explained

Babolat is officially part of the Prime Padel Shop lineup, and it arrives with one of the most recognizable signatures in the sport: Juan Lebron.

If you've watched a professional match in the last few years, you've seen Lebron play. Aggressive, fast hands at the net, and a smash that ends points rather than extends them. The 3.0 collection built around him has three models, and here's the thing most people get wrong: all three are diamond-shaped attacking rackets. This isn't a power/control split. It's three versions of the same aggressive idea, and the difference is who each one is built for.

Viper Juan Lebron 3.0 - the pro model

Listed as diamond, pro. This is the flagship, and it's the closest thing to what Lebron actually plays with.

Diamond shape means the weight sits high in the head and the sweet spot sits high on the face. That combination produces genuine power on the smash and punishes anything hit low or off-center. It's a racket that gives back exactly what your technique puts in.

Who it's for: advanced players with consistent contact and an attacking role at the net.

Viper Soft Juan Lebron 3.0 - the comfort version

Same diamond shape, same price tier, softer delivery. This is listed as a comfort model, and for a lot of players it's the smarter buy.

A softer layup does two useful things: it's kinder to your arm over a long session, and it takes some of the sting out of imperfect contact. If you play three or four times a week, or you've had elbow or forearm trouble before, this is the model in the collection we'd point you toward first. You're not giving up the racket's character, you're giving up a bit of harshness.

Who it's for: intermediate-plus and advanced players who want the Viper's attacking shape without the punishing feel.

Veron Juan Lebron 3.0 - attack at a lower price

Also diamond, also built for attack, but positioned well below the two Vipers on price.

This is the entry point into the Lebron line. If you want an aggressive diamond racket and the flagship is more than you want to spend, the Veron gets you the same shape and intent for meaningfully less money.

Worth noting to avoid confusion: we also carry the Babolat Air Veron 2.6, which is a completely different racket - hybrid shape, versatile, built for all-court play rather than pure attack. Similar name, different job.

So which one?

Buy the Viper if you're advanced, you attack, and you want Babolat's best.

Buy the Viper Soft if you like all of the above but want your arm to survive four sessions a week. Honestly, this is the right answer for more players than will admit it.

Buy the Veron if you want the attacking diamond shape without the flagship price.

Buy none of them if you're in your first year of padel. A diamond racket makes the learning curve steeper, not shorter - the sweet spot is small and high, and you'll spend the season fighting your equipment instead of building your swing. Start round and forgiving. We carry Babolat options built exactly for that, including the Alkes and the Energy USA, both round and beginner-friendly, and the Air Origin as a teardrop improver racket.

The rest of the Babolat range

The Lebron line gets the attention, but the collection goes wider: the Counter Viper and Technical Viper families for power, the Dyna Energy for a light and maneuverable feel, and the Alioth Mini for juniors.

If you're not sure where you sit, message us with your level and how often you play. We'd rather sell you the right racket once than the wrong racket twice.
