About Us
We’re Alessandro Frontaurea and Isabella Pinto — a couple who’s been inseparable for nearly four years, united by our unshakable love for sports and each other. Alessandro picked up a tennis racket at age 11, quickly falling for the rhythm of the baseline rallies and the thrill of outsmarting opponents. He spent his teenage years balancing tennis with soccer, where he honed his competitive edge and teamwork skills on the field. I, Isabella, started tennis even earlier, at 7, growing up with the sound of squeaking sneakers and the satisfying pop of a well-struck ball. My childhood was filled with local tournaments, sweaty summer camps, and a racket that felt like an extension of my arm.
Our paths crossed in college — Alessandro, with his economics degree already in hand, and me, working toward mine (set to graduate this May 2025). It didn’t take long for us to realize we were a perfect match, both on and off the court. Tennis became our bonding ritual — late afternoons spent rallying, laughing through missed shots, and celebrating small victories. Then, a couple of years ago, we stumbled upon padel during a spontaneous weekend trip. One game was all it took — the fast pace, the teamwork, the sheer fun of it — and we were hooked.
What began as a casual hobby soon ignited a shared obsession. We couldn’t get enough of padel’s infectious energy, its tight-knit community, and the excitement of a sport that’s just beginning to sweep the U.S. In September 2024, fueled by love — for each other, for padel, and for building something real — we launched Prime Padel Shop.
As young entrepreneurs, we bring more than just passion to the table. Alessandro’s economics background (he graduated a few years back) gives us a sharp eye for business, while my studies at university have taught me the value of persistence and planning. But Prime Padel Shop isn’t just about numbers or logistics — it’s personal. We’ve always dreamed of creating something meaningful together, not just a store, but a hub for a growing community of players who feel the same rush we do when we step onto the court.
