A padel bag does more than carry your racket. A good one keeps the racket away from heat and cold, keeps damp shoes away from clean clothes, and holds the small things you always forget: balls, overgrips and a towel. This guide explains the three main types of padel bag and lists the ones we have in stock.
The 30-second answer
- You walk, bike or take the train to the club: a backpack, like the HEAD Coello Tour Backpack 25L or the Wilson Padel Tour Backpack.
- You bring one or two rackets and light kit: a small duffle, like the Babolat Court S.
- You carry 2 or 3 rackets and want everything separated: the Hirostar Padel Bag or the Siux Pro Tour.
- You play tournaments or carry 4 or more rackets: the Tecnifibre Tour Endurance, the Tecnifibre Reform Paletero or the Babolat RH Pro Juan Lebron 2026.
What to look for in a padel bag
A thermal racket compartment
The foam core inside a padel racket softens in heat and gets brittle in cold. A bag left in a car in a Texas summer, or overnight in winter, takes both. An insulated (thermal) racket compartment slows that down and helps your racket last. Read more in how to make a padel racket last longer.
A separate shoe compartment
Ventilated shoe pockets keep sweaty shoes away from your clothes and racket.
Capacity
Most club players carry one or two rackets. If you keep a backup, play several sessions a day or play tournaments, look for room for three or more.
How you carry it
Backpack straps free your hands for the walk or ride to the club. Many full-size racket bags now have backpack straps too.

FAQ
Do I need a padel bag?
Not on day one, but it's one of the best ways to protect your racket from heat, cold and knocks. If your racket lives in your car, a thermal bag is worth it.
Can I use a tennis bag for padel?
Yes, if the racket fits. Padel bags are shaped for shorter, wider padel rackets and usually add a thermal compartment.
What's a good padel bag gift?
The HEAD Coello Tour Backpack and the Babolat Court S are both under $100 and suit most club players. See more ideas in our padel gift guide.
