Our Experience at the Pro Padel League City Cup Finals
This past November 2024, Isabella and I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Pro Padel League City Cup Finals in New York City, and let us tell you — it was an unforgettable experience!
As passionate players and founders of Prime Padel Shop, we are always thrilled to see how the sport is growing in the U.S., but watching world-class padel live and up close made us even more motivated to keep pushing the sport forward.
Witnessing Top-Level Padel in the U.S.
The City Cup Finals were everything we hoped for — fast-paced matches, incredible talent, and an electric atmosphere. Seeing elite-level padel right here in the United States was a dream come true and a clear sign that padel is taking off in this country.
After an intense battle filled with incredible points, the Flowrida Goats emerged as the champions, defeating the Miami Padel Club in a thrilling final. The match was filled with energy, strategy, and unbelievable shots that had everyone on the edge of their seats.
It was inspiring to see how much talent exists in the Pro Padel League and how American teams and players are stepping up to compete at the highest level.
Meeting Nico Agritelley — A Prime Moment
One of the highlights of our trip was getting to meet and chat with Nico Agritelley, one of the top American padel players and a great ambassador for the sport in the U.S. Nico was incredibly friendly and approachable, and we had the chance to give him a special gift from Prime Padel Shop to show our appreciation for all he does to grow padel in this country.
Having a moment like that with a player we admire was something really special for us — and it reinforced how connected and supportive the padel community is.
Why This Matters to Prime Padel Shop
For us, attending the City Cup Finals wasn’t just about watching great padel — it was about being part of the growing U.S. padel community. At Prime Padel Shop, our mission has always been to bring the best padel products to players in the U.S. and help grow the sport, and this event reminded us exactly why we do what we do.
Seeing the level of excitement, the quality of play, and the community around the event showed us that padel in the U.S. is just getting started, and we are proud to be part of that journey.
If you’ve never been to a Pro Padel League event, we can’t recommend it enough — it’s an incredible experience, and we’re already looking forward to the next finals!
